VMworld 2017 in Las Vegas and Barcelona – my photos

After a longer-than-expected trip back from VMworld Barcelona, I just want to share some of my photos from the recent VMworld events with all of you. I have several posts planned for the next couple of weeks, specifically around VMworld, the newly announced Pivotal Container Service (joint Kubernetes offering from VMware and Pivotal in partnership with Google) and much more. Stay tuned!

VMworld 2016 in Las Vegas is over and there is a ton of content available already. The General Sessions (Monday & Tuesday) give a great overview about key announcements and especially the keynote from Monday goes beyond VMware technology and takes a look at the future of IT. Pat Gelsinger also introduced VMware Cloud Foundation and the Cross-Cloud Architecture:

VMworld TAM Day

It was now my fourth year as part of the VMworld TAM Day planning and Social Media team. For those of you that are not aware of the Technical Account Manager Service or TAM Day: TAM Day is a pre-VMworld event for TAM customers only. Like in previous years, we had many VMware Executives at the event that shared the company vision, presented current focus areas and spent time with customers after the official program. For the rest of the day we had prominent speakers covering both technical and business related breakout sessions. One of the highlights was the „Birds of a Feather Lunch“ where VMware Product Managers, Engineers, Consultants and other Subject Matter Experts host tables for questions and discussions with customers.
